PA glorifies female terrorists and murderers on International Women's Day
- Hijacker Laila Khaled honored by official PA TV
- Mass murderer Dalal Mughrabi celebrated in Fatah's "Shabiba" student organization in Facebook post
- Tribute to Mughrabi and others on Ramallah's governor Facebook page
Leave it to the Palestinian Authority to take a day set aside for celebrating the incredible achievements of women everywhere – a day to inspire and motivate women of tomorrow - and use it to glorify some of the Palestinians' most notorious terrorists, like Dalal Mughrabi, the terrorist who led the murder of 37, 12 of them children, and Leila Khaled – a hijacker and accomplice to murder.
On PA TV, hijacker Laila Khaled was idolized as a woman who helped write the "history of Palestine":
Official PA TV host: "Starting with Laila Khaled (i.e., terrorist plane hijacker, involved in murder of 1) and on to thousands of women whose names were not mentioned in the book [of history], but they wrote the history of Palestine with their endurance, women who led the struggle and protected the home, women who created hope in the most difficult times."'

Part of the important value of International Women's Day is to present an opportunity to educate and inspire young women about their own aspirations for the future.
That's why this Facebook post by Fatah's "Shabiba" student group is so very disturbing, featuring as it does the infamous terrorist Dalal Mughrabi, who led the Coastal Road Massacre – the most lethal terror attack in Israel's history until October 7, 2023:

Posted text: "On the occasion of International Women's Day, we express our great appreciation and pride for the Palestinian woman, who has been and continues to be a symbol of resolve and giving and a fundamental partner in the path of struggle and building…
On this day, we proudly remember the sacrifice of the female fighters (i.e., terrorists) who gave their lives for Palestine, foremost among them Martyr Dalal Mughrabi(i.e., terrorist who led murder of 37, 12 of them children) and her colleagues, who have constituted a symbol of heroism and sacrifice for the freedom and dignity of our people."

Similarly, prominent Palestinian Authority official and woman politician Ramallah District Governor Laila Ghannam used her own Facebook page to glorify the female Palestinian terrorists as "a symbol of our national struggle":

Posted text: "On March 8 every year [on International Women's Day], the Palestinian woman preserves the dream and creates resolve…
On this day, we remember our female prisoners (i.e., terrorists) who are dealing with the chains and prison guards with patience and strength. We also pray for the souls of the female Martyrs and leaders who paved the way to freedom with their blood, from Dalal Mughrabi (i.e., terrorist who led murder of 37, 12 of them children) to Samiha Khalil (i.e., politician connected to DFLP terror organization), [former PA Minister of Women's Affairs] Rabiha Dhiab, and others who are a symbol of our national struggle."
The image shows a Palestinian woman holding a large key symbolizing the Palestinian refugees' "right of return" on the right, while in the background on the left is the PA map of "Palestine" that presents all of Israel together with the PA areas as "Palestine."

The messaging that the PA is publicly sending out to young Palestinian women is unambiguous: Terrorist murderers like Laila Khaled and Dalal Mughrabi are our heroes, and all young women should aspire to follow their path of murder and violence as part of their national duty.
