Palestinian Authority libel: Israelis say that “when a Jew kills an Arab, he rises one level in Heaven”

Itamar Marcus|

A fundamental component of Palestinian Authority ideology is to brainwash Palestinians that Israelis want to harm and murder them all. This demonization creates the foundation for terror against Israelis. Terror attacks become "legitimate self-defense" against a murderous and evil "Zionist enemy."

Accordingly, official PA TV taught viewers recently that Israelis and Jews are busy talking about having a shortcut to a higher level in heaven. They don't have to be good or show ethical values. All an Israeli or Jew has to do, according to the PA libel, is "kill an Arab," and they are rewarded in "Heaven":

Palestinian Media Watch has exposed many similar statements aimed at brainwashing the population into thinking all Israelis and Jews are dangerous. In another striking libel, the Fatah spokesman in Jenin said that former Prime Minister Golda Meir yearned for the extermination of Palestinian children:

"I want to mention a phrase said by the woman in hell, Golda Meir, one of her nine famous phrases: 'I hope that one day I will wake up and not a single Palestinian child will be alive.'"

Another libel by a Fatah spokesperson, Mundhir Al-Hayek, claimed that Jews' religious books promote murder of Arabs:

"There is a book called 'Al-Tanakh' (i.e., 'Bible' in Hebrew), it is a book composed by Israeli rabbis and it is based on the Torah ['Al-Torah'], and its central message is killing Arabs, killing Palestinians; a good Arab is a dead Arab."

Children are also poisoned with these hate messages. The most popular children's TV program host taught Palestinian children that Israelis target Palestinian children. It was during the murderous terror wave in 2015-2016 ("The Knife Intifada"), in which Palestinian terrorists murdered 40 people (36 Israelis, 1 Palestinian, 2 Americans, and 1 Eritrean) and wounded hundreds in stabbings, shootings, and car-ramming attacks:

Official PA TV host: "The occupation [Israel] targets children everywhere. In their schools, near their homes... We must be very careful now. We are confronting the occupiers who act in a very barbaric terrorist way. They are trying to kill people everywhere. These are barbarians, my young friends. They try to kill people for no reason, who are just walking on their land. They make various accusations against them. This is called barbarity, my friends. Be very careful all the time. All children under 18, and children under 15, when you go out, your mom or dad, should accompany you, I mean that an adult should accompany you."

Another recent example of demonization of Israelis and Jews was by Fatah's official spokesman, who spread the libelous message that Israel's policy since 1948 has been "massacres, annihilation, and ethnic cleansing:"

Official Fatah spokesman and released terrorist Abd Al-Fattah Doleh: "[The Israeli governments] began the occupation of our Palestinian land in 1948 with massacres, annihilation, and ethnic cleansing – and since that day, this project and this policy continue against our people with the aim of uprooting this people from its land."

The constant portrayal of Jews and Israelis as murderers targeting Palestinians, and in particular children, is an important part of Palestinian terror incitement because it elevates the murder of Jews and Israelis to self-defense. In fact, many Palestinian Authority and Fatah leaders publicly characterized the Palestinian atrocities on October 7—when Israelis were murdered, beheaded, burnt alive, and raped—as "self-defense."

One example of many was from just two days after the attack, when Mahmoud Abbas' advisor defended the terror:

"It is the Palestinian people's right to use all means of self-defense as is anchored in the international laws."

[PA Supreme Shari'ah Judge and Abbas' advisor Mahmoud Al-Habbash, Facebook page, Oct. 9, 2023]

Another example was when Fatah Central Committee Secretary Jibril Rajoub praised the massacre as "an earthquake" and "a war of defense full of epics:"

Rajoub: "What happened on October 7 was an earthquake, an unprecedented incident, and a war of defense full of epics and acts of heroism that the Palestinian people has been waging for 75 years."
