“Massive Palestinian intifada” promoted by official Palestinian Authority daily
The Palestinian Authority's official daily has publicized an explicit call for a "massive Palestinian intifada"—a term synonymous with waves of terror attacks and the murder of Israelis:
"Center for the Defense of Freedoms and Civil Rights 'Hurriyat' Director Hilmi Al-Araj… emphasized that protecting the prisoners' movement requires a massive Palestinian intifada against the occupation (i.e., Israel) and intervention from the international community."

By deliberately publishing Al-Araj's demand, the PA's official newspaper is knowingly amplifying the call for widespread terror.
Meanwhile, PA officials manufactured supposed Jewish threats to generate the fear and anger needed to ignite such terror. PA Jerusalem District Spokesman Ma'arouf Al-Rifai recently claimed that whereas Jews visited and prayed on the Temple Mount on the second day of Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year religious holiday) on Sunday, no pictures of the events were publicized on social media. He warned that the absence of photographs of Jews visiting the Temple Mount suggested they were concealing a sinister plan.
PA Jerusalem District Spokesman Ma'arouf Al-Rifai: "Today, no pictures or videos of [settler] invasions were published, and this concerns us. On previous occasions, the settlers' own websites published their invasions, prostrations, prayers, and the raising of the Israeli flag. Today, no pictures of the invasions were published in the morning or evening, and no media outlet published them. Therefore, we fear that there is something planned that is hidden from the public eye and the camera's eye."

Al-Rifai's libel was as ignorant as it was malicious. He was speaking about the second day of Rosh Hashanah, when observant Jews do not use electronic devices, including phones. Yet rather than understand basic facts about Jewish religious observance, he transformed his own ignorance into another Jewish conspiracy against the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
