Following Israeli protests, Jenin mayor decided to remove monument honoring terrorist who planned Ma'alot Massacre. Following Palestinian pressure, Jenin mayor restored the monument.

The PA established a monument honoring the terrorist Ahmad Jabarah Abu Sukkar, who planned the detonation of a bomb-laden refrigerator in the center of Jerusalem, murdering 15 people in 1976.
